Reverse description The reverse presents a bold commemorative composition celebrating the 1972 Munich Olympic Games. Five interlocked Olympic rings dominate the central field, overlaid with the inscription MÜNCHEN · 1972 in large raised letters, while the word OLYMPIA appears to the upper right. An Olympic torch bearer rises from the rings at center-right, rendered in dynamic relief, and the skyline of Munich with its characteristic church towers is depicted to the upper left. The coat of arms of Munich is shown within the lower-left ring. A curved banderole along the lower border carries the Arabic legend الدَّورَة الأولَمبِيَّة فى مُيونِخ ١٩٧٢, and the entire design is enclosed by a beaded rim.
