| Reverse description | Central vignette depicts the iconic dome of Cairo University rendered in fine detail, serving as the dominant design element in the field. Above the dome, a curved legend reads 'كلية الحقوق - جامعة القاهرة' (Faculty of Law - Cairo University). To the right of the dome, a set of scales of justice is depicted, with the foundation and centenary dates '1868' and '2018' inscribed below the scales. To the left of the dome, the numeral '150' is rendered in a large, prominent font. The entire design is contained within a beaded inner border, with a reeded outer rim encircling the composition. |

| Additional information |
Cairo University's Faculty of Law, founded in 1906, was the first secular law school in Egypt and became a principal training ground for the nationalist politicians and jurists who would negotiate — and eventually terminate — the British protectorate. This commemorative was issued as part of a broader Egyptian program marking institutional centenaries, a series that has produced numerous low-mintage silver pieces absorbed almost entirely by the domestic collector market.
