Obverse description Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara, rendered in high relief against a polished field. The legend BAILIWICK OF JERSEY arcs above the portrait, while ELIZABETH II and the date 2014 appear below. The design is struck on a poppy-shaped flan with a distinctive gold-plated finish. The portrait style is consistent with the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy used on British Crown dependency coinage of this period.
