Above the aircraft, an incuse rectangular plaque carries the inscription CONCORDE 001(FWTSS) / MACH 1.05=760MPH, recording the technical data of the historic supersonic milestone. Below the aircraft, a second incuse rectangular tablet bears the date OCT / 1 / 1969, commemorating the exact date of the first supersonic flight.
