The design by Emma Noble fills the field with the crown's elaborate jewelled bands, fleurs-de-lis, and beaded borders. The commemorative legend TO REIGN AND SERVE A VOW MADE GOOD arcs around the periphery in two segments, with the engraver's initials EN visible at lower right of the crown. The overall composition commemorates the 60th anniversary of the Queen's Coronation. |
