| Descrizione del rovescio | The reverse features a bold, centrally positioned depiction of St. Edward's Crown, the sovereign regalia used at the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953, rendered in high relief with finely detailed arches, orb, and cross pattée surmount. The design by Emma Noble fills the field with the crown's elaborate jewelled bands, fleurs-de-lis, and beaded borders. The commemorative legend TO REIGN AND SERVE A VOW MADE GOOD arcs around the periphery in two segments, with the engraver's initials EN visible at lower right of the crown. The overall composition commemorates the 60th anniversary of the Queen's Coronation. |
