| Beschrijving voorzijde | Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II wearing the Diamond Diadem Crown, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair and a teardrop earring visible at the ear. The truncation of the bust is unadorned. The surrounding legend reads ELIZABETH II DEI GRA REGINA ALDERNEY C.I. in Latin, disposed around the periphery, with the date 2020 appearing at the bottom of the field. A beaded inner border frames the design. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Alderney has issued commemorative five-pound pieces under Crown Dependency authority since the 1990s, licensing its name to mint contractors — primarily the Pobjoy Mint — for collector-market products with no circulation mandate. This 2020 Remembrance issue falls squarely in that tradition: a gold-plated copper piece produced for the retail gift market rather than any monetary function.
The .999 gold plating is applied in microns over a copper core. Worth knowing before a buyer mistakes "gold clad" for a bullion proposition.
