Reverse description The full achievement of the Royal Arms of the United Kingdom occupies the centre of the field, rendered in high relief in the style engraved by James Butler. The quartered shield displays the arms of England (three passant guardant lions), Scotland (a rampant lion within a double tressure), and Ireland (a harp), surmounted by the Royal Crown. The shield is supported to the dexter by a crowned lion guardant rampant and to the sinister by a unicorn rampant chained and gorged with a coronet. A garter belt bearing the motto HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE encircles the shield, and a scroll beneath bears the royal motto DIEU ET MON DROIT. The date 2013 appears in the lower exergue, with the engraver's initials JB visible to the right.
