Pitcairn Islands issues currency under a licensing arrangement with foreign mints — the island's actual population has hovered around 40 to 50 people for decades, and no coins circulate there in any practical sense. This piece is a commemorative product aimed squarely at the collector market, with "Attack" in the title almost certainly referencing the infamous 1790 mutiny on HMS Bounty and the subsequent violent founding of the Pitcairn settlement by Fletcher Christian's party.
KM#142 places this late in a long run of similar Pitcairn collector issues, most struck by the Pobjoy Mint under contract.
