The denomination numeral '5' appears in green at lower right, with 'BANK OF SCOTLAND' in vertical letterpress along the right edge; the BBC Children in Need logo is positioned at lower left. The issue date '17th July 2015' and promise text are inscribed in the upper centre field, accompanied by two facsimile signatures of the Governor and Treasurer. |

| 备注 |
Bank of Scotland issued this note in partnership with BBC Children in Need, one of a handful of Scottish commemorative polymer issues from this period. De La Rue's Gateshead facility — formerly the Mantis/Camelot security print operation absorbed into De La Rue — handled production, making it an early example of domestically produced Scottish polymer currency rather than an overseas commission.
Collector demand on release was immediate and heavy. The note is legal tender in Scotland but, like all Bank of Scotland issues, was never technically legal tender in England — a distinction that rarely stops English retailers refusing Scottish notes regardless of denomination or occasion.
