| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse features a central circular cartouche enclosing the denomination numeral '٥' (5) above the Arabic inscription 'جنيهات' (Pounds), with the dual Hijri and Gregorian date '١٤١١ ـ ١٩٩٠' below. Surrounding the cartouche in the lower field is a bold flowing calligraphic legend reading 'جمهورية مصر العربية' (Arab Republic of Egypt), rendered in an ornate Thuluth script style. The rim is encircled by a decorative reeded border. The overall design is executed in a flat relief with polished fields typical of Egyptian commemorative coinage of this period. |

Surrounding the central medallion, distributed across the field, are numerous raised pictographic figures of athletes engaged in a variety of sports disciplines, including cycling, football, gymnastics, shooting, rowing, tennis, and running, among others. An Arabic legend in the field reads 'نادى الاسكندرية الرياضى ـ العيد المئوي ـ سبورتنج ١٨٩٠ ـ ١٩٩٠' (Alexandria Sporting Club – Centennial – Sporting 1890–1990). The design is enclosed by a reeded rim, and the overall composition commemorates the club's centenary in an energetic and emblematic style. |
