| Reverse description | The reverse presents a composite commemorative emblem occupying the central field. A helmeted Egyptian soldier in profile faces right, holding a flagstaff topped with a pennant; the Eagle of Saladin appears on his helmet. Behind the soldier, a large stylized crescent forms the background. To the left of the central device, wavy lines represent the Suez Canal crossing, while to the right, an upward-pointing arrow overlays a section of the Bar-Lev Line rendered as a brick fortification, symbolising the Egyptian breakthrough. An olive branch in low relief appears at the lower left. Along the lower arc of the field, the commemorative Arabic legend الذكرى العشرون لنصر أكتوبر (The 20th Anniversary of the October Victory) is inscribed. The design is enclosed by the same segmented decorative border as the obverse. |
