Popis líce	The obverse is printed predominantly in blue on a light ground, with borders of traditional Cypriot lacework guilloche at top and bottom. To the left, a large circular vignette renders a detailed spiral lacework medallion; at centre, a multicolour underprint of geometric embroidery motifs frames the trilingual denomination. To the right, the national arms of Cyprus — a dove with an olive branch above the date 1960, encircled by a wreath — appear within a dark blue scalloped cartouche, with a small outline map of Cyprus below.

Popis rubu	The reverse is rendered in blue and red on a cream ground, with matching lacework guilloche borders at top and bottom. At left, a large diamond-shaped vignette displays a traditional Cypriot embroidery carpet pattern in intaglio; the centre field carries flowing floral and foliate arabesques over a fine red guilloche rosette underprint. To the right, additional embroidery medallions with stylised botanical motifs complete the composition.
