背面描述	Printed in red, blue, and brown on cream paper, the reverse centres on a vignette of a costumed medieval town crier or jester figure holding a horn, flanked on either side by large ornamental numeral '5' in blue with dark outlines. A decorative red border band at the top carries the denomination inscription in Gothic script, while the lower band bears the issuer legend 'NOTGELD DER STADT ESCHWEGE' in bold red Gothic lettering. Secondary lines in Gothic script read 'Der Magistrat' at lower left and 'Wird nicht eingelöst.' at lower right, with the monogram 'E.M.2T.' visible near the base of the central vignette.
