Obverse description The Cuban national coat of arms is displayed prominently in the centre of the field, featuring the traditional elements of the royal palm, rising sun, Phrygian cap, and bundled fasces. The legend REPUBLICA DE CUBA arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination 5 PESOS appears in the lower field. The silver fineness AG 0.999 and weight designation 12G are inscribed on the left and right sides respectively. A beaded inner border encircles the design close to the rim.
