| 正面描述 | Portrait vignette of President Manuel Quezon at upper left, with the circular seal of the Philippine National Bank at upper right. The centre carries the bearer clause text and the bold denomination legend FIVE PESOS, below which the note is identified as a Philippine National Bank Emergency Circulating Note issued by the Misamis Occidental Currency Committee. Three manuscript signatures of the committee members appear in the lower portion, with their printed titles and names beneath; denominational numeral 5 appears in ornamental cartouches at each corner within a decorative guilloche border. |

| 备注 |
The Misamis Occidental Currency Committee was one of several emergency note-issuing bodies established across Philippine provinces after Japanese forces disrupted the existing financial infrastructure in late 1941 and early 1942. These provincial guerrilla currencies were sanctioned under broad wartime authority and backed — nominally — by the Philippine National Bank, though the PNB's own operations were severely compromised during the occupation. The three-signature format here reflects the committee's administrative structure: local civilian and banking officials co-signing to lend whatever institutional credibility the circumstances allowed.
Survival rates for Misamis Occidental issues vary considerably by denomination. The Japanese military administration actively suppressed guerrilla currencies, and holders faced real risk in keeping them.
