Reverse description The national arms of Argentina displayed within a central shield, consisting of an oval divided per fess: the upper half depicting the rays of the rising sun, and the lower half showing hands clasped in unity, all surmounted by a Phrygian cap on a pike. The shield is flanked by two laurel branches tied at the base, with a radiant sun in glory rising above. The legend REPUBLICA ARGENTINA arcs around the upper periphery, and the date appears in the exergue below, all within a beaded border.
