The design is framed within a rectangular geometric border with stepped corner ornaments and a beaded outer ring. A circular Devanagari legend surrounds the central motif, reading the auspicious coronation inscription of King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev. The Bikram Sambat date 2031 appears in Devanagari numerals at the base of the design within the outer border. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Central field displays the Khukuri (traditional Nepali curved knife) flanked symmetrically by two elaborate garlands of flowers, all in high relief against a recessed field. Below the central device, the denomination and country name are inscribed in two lines in Devanagari script. The central motif is enclosed within a raised circular border. A scalloped or lotus-petal outer border frames the design, with a Devanagari circular legend invoking the names of Gorakhnath and Bhavani distributed around the periphery, separated by dot ornaments. |
