Obverse description	Central field features the National Seal of Mauritania, comprising a crescent and star above a palm frond and a book, all within a circular border. The Arabic legend الجمهورية الإسلامية الموريتانية (The Islamic Republic of Mauritania) curves along the upper periphery of the heptagonal flan. The Hijri date ١٤٣٩ and the denomination ٥ أواق (5 Ouguiya) appear in the lower field, flanked by small five-pointed stars.
