Reverse description The denomination numeral '5' is prominently displayed at the top of the field in a large, bold typeface, with the currency unit 'ØRE' inscribed directly below in matching style. Three stylised trefoil or triangular ornamental devices — reminiscent of Viking-inspired knotwork motifs — are arranged symmetrically around the central denomination, one at lower centre and one each at upper left and upper right. The date appears in small numerals below the denomination, separated by a small mint mark or ornamental device between the digits. The overall design is uncluttered and modernist in conception.
