| Beschrijving keerzijde | A bold, high-relief left-facing bust of the Great Sphinx of Giza occupies the majority of the reverse field, rendered in a stylized yet detailed manner with the nemes headdress and facial features clearly defined. The Sphinx's chest and forelegs are visible in the lower portion of the design, lending a three-quarter perspective. A small Arabic numeral mintmark appears in the lower exergue area beneath the Sphinx. The design is framed by a plain field with a beaded inner border and reeded outer rim. |
