The word KASSENSCHEIN appears in a banner at the top, with the denomination FÜNF MARK in large Gothic blackletter script below. Ornate numeral 5 vignettes occupy each corner, and a text block in German specifies the conditions of issue and legal tender status within the Freiwillige Westarmee, dated Mitau, 10. Oct. 1919, with an anti-counterfeiting warning in a ruled box at the foot. |
