The issuer's name is set in Gothic blackletter script at the top, above the large ornate Fraktur denomination legend "Fünf Mark" at centre. A validity clause in smaller Roman type and the place-and-date line "Bochum, 16. Juni 1917." appear below, with a serial number panel at the foot; a pink oval control stamp is applied to the lower right. |
