The central text, rendered in ornate Fraktur calligraphy, reads 'Gutschein über Fünf Mark', followed by a letterpress text citing the collegiate resolutions of 5 and 15 November 1918. Two manuscript signatures of municipal officials appear above their printed titles at the base, with the printer's imprint 'Gebr. Parcus, München' at the very bottom. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | The reverse is printed entirely in green on a fine guilloche underprint ground. At the top, a six-line verse in Gothic blackletter script occupies the upper portion of the note. The central vignette comprises three heraldic shields arranged side by side: the left shield bears the Bavarian lozengy arms with an eagle, the centre shield displays a rampant lion atop a decorative ewer or vessel with the date 1642, and the right shield repeats the eagle above a wheel, together representing the civic arms of Marktredwitz. A two-line redemption notice in letterpress appears at the foot. |
