Oktober 1918', the Oberbürgermeister's manuscript signature, and a red letterpress serial number with letter prefix at the foot, with the printer's imprint 'Worms & Lüthgen, Crefeld' in the lower right margin. |

| 裏面の説明 | Printed in blue-grey on cream paper, the reverse centres on an oval intaglio vignette encircled by a beaded border, containing a standing male figure — likely a silk weaver or textile worker, the trade for which Crefeld was renowned — carrying a rolled bolt of cloth over one shoulder and a bag in the other hand, set on a plinth. To either side of the oval, ornate cartouches with scrollwork enclose the denomination '5 MARK' in bold serif lettering. The entire field is covered by a tightly repeated underprint of circular medallions bearing the crowned Crefeld coat of arms, the inscription 'STADT CREFELD', and the dates '1918–1919'; a small crowned shield appears below the central vignette. |
