Aversbeschreibung	The national coat of arms of the Republic of Azerbaijan occupies the central field, depicted as a shield bearing an eight-pointed star enclosing a flame motif, symbolising the Zoroastrian fire heritage of the country. The shield is flanked at the base by an oak branch to the left and a wheat ear to the right, crossed beneath the shield. The legend AZƏRBAYCAN RESPUBLİKASI arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination 5 MANAT appears in the lower exergue, both rendered in raised Latin characters against a polished field.
