| Description de l’avers | Diademed head of Hieronymus facing left, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with carefully detailed curling hair swept back from the forehead and secured by a royal diadem whose ends trail behind the neck. The portrait is youthful in character, with sharp facial features and a slightly receding chin, consistent with the brief reign of this young Syracusan king. The field is plain, and the coin's irregular flan edge is characteristic of the hammered coinage of the period. No inscription appears on the obverse. |

| Description du revers | A winged thunderbolt is depicted in the center of the field, shown frontally with radiating wings and lightning bolts extending outward in multiple directions, a symbol strongly associated with Macedonian royal coinage and the Ptolemaic tradition. A small crab is placed at the center of the thunderbolt, a device long associated with Syracusan coinage. The Greek royal legend is divided above and below the central device, reading BAΣIΛEOΣ above and IEPΩNYMOY below, identifying the issuer as King Hieronymus.
