Описание лицевой стороны	The Bulgarian national coat of arms appears in an oval vignette on the left, framed by an elaborate guilloche border with rosette ornaments at the corners and numeral 5 repeated in circular medallions. The central text panel carries the bank name at top and the denomination in bold Cyrillic letterpress, above the gold redemption clause and two manuscript signatures. Serial numbers are printed in black at lower left and lower right.

The overall colour is olive-green.
