Opis awersu	The Bulgarian national coat of arms appears in an oval vignette on the left, framed by an elaborate guilloche border with rosette ornaments at the corners and numeral 5 repeated in circular medallions. The central text panel carries the bank name at top and the denomination in bold Cyrillic letterpress, above the gold redemption clause and two manuscript signatures. Serial numbers are printed in black at lower left and lower right.

Opis rewersu	A central intaglio-engraved vignette occupies the middle of the note, showing a ploughman in traditional national costume guiding a wooden plough drawn by two horses across a field, with a rural landscape in the background. The vignette is set within a rectangular frame surrounded by an intricate guilloche underprint of floral rosettes and lace-like geometric patterns, with large numeral 5 medallions at left and right. The overall colour is olive-green.
