| Obverse description | Printed on a teal-green crosshatch guilloche underprint, the obverse carries the issuer's name 'Store Norske Spitsbergen Kulkompani Aktieselskap' in bold serif letterpress across the upper centre. A large teal watermark-style denomination numeral '5 Kr.' forms a dominant underprint behind the central text block, which sets out the full redemption conditions for the season 1941/42. Series designation 'Serie Æ' appears at upper left, with a printed serial number at upper right; two manuscript signatures appear at the foot above the printed titles 'Styrets formann' and 'Kontorsjef, Spitsbergen'. |
