| Reverse description | Plain, largely featureless cast lead surface retaining visible casting marks and surface irregularities consistent with emergency production. At center, two stacked raised rectangular cartouches bear the abbreviated inscription 'Milit.' in the upper block and the date '1799' in the lower block, both rendered in crude, hand-engraved lettering. Faint ghost impressions of the obverse design are visible in the surrounding field, a typical characteristic of cast siege coinage. The overall fabric is rough and unfinished, reflecting the urgent wartime circumstances of issue. |
