Popis líce	Central field displays the Slovak state coat of arms — a shield bearing a double-barred patriarchal cross rising from three mountain peaks — flanked symmetrically on either side by wheat sheaves curving upward from the base. The denomination numeral '5' appears prominently in the upper right, with the legend arcing around the upper periphery. The date 1939 is inscribed in the lower exergue beneath the shield.
