Описание лицевой стороны	Central vignette presents the Raggiana Bird of Paradise with wings spread, rendered in intaglio on a multicoloured guilloche underprint of traditional Melanesian motifs in purple, orange, and gold. A ceremonial Kina shell pendant is positioned below the bird vignette, flanked by two signature panels bearing the titles Governor and Secretary, Department of Finance. The denomination numeral '5' appears in large format at upper left and lower right, with the bank name in letterpress across the top.

Описание оборотной стороны	The reverse carries an intaglio vignette of a Sepik Hohao (spirit board) mask at right centre, rendered with fine cross-hatched detail against a backdrop of traditional curvilinear Melanesian design patterns in purple and orange guilloche. A large Kina shell necklace occupies the left and central portion of the design, its circular form and ornamental attachments rendered with precision. The denomination numeral '5' appears at upper left, with the bank name in letterpress along the lower margin.
