Against the background of the Mitrydat hill, a bracelet composed of archaeological finds from the Kul-Oba kurgan is depicted in the central field, with stylized representations of the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov flanking either side of the hill. | Opis rewersu | The reverse features a centrally placed Ionic order column, a prominent monument located in the city of Kerch, with ancient coins of Panticapaeum depicted above the column's capital. To the left of the column, set against a townscape, stands the Church of St. John the Baptist, a landmark dating to the 10th–14th centuries. To the right, a staircase ascending the Mitrydat hill is rendered in detail. Semicircular inscriptions in the upper and lower fields read КЕРЧ and 2600, commemorating the city's 2,600th anniversary. |
