| Obverse description | An intaglio portrait vignette of President Dr. François Duvalier in an oval frame occupies the left portion of the note, with his title inscription below. The centre and right are dominated by a large guilloche medallion bearing the interlaced numeral-and-G denomination cypher, flanked by the denomination numeral '5' at each corner against a fine rose-red guilloche underprint. Three manuscript signatures appear at the bottom, attributed to Le Président, Le Directeur, and Un Administrateur, with the bank name arched across the top. |
