| Reverse description | Printed in brown on an uncolored ground, the reverse is framed by an intricate guilloche border with scroll ornaments at each corner and large numeral "5" counters at left and right. A finely engraved panoramic vignette of Charlotte Amalie harbour, with the town and hillside of St. Thomas stretching across the centre-right of the note, dominates the design. Bilingual legends in Danish and English above and below the vignette state the note's payability in Europe at the Copenhagen office of the bank. |
