Reverse description Central field features the interlaced double-R princely monogram of Rainier III rendered in bold, elegant script, surmounted by the princely crown of Monaco with a cross atop. Four lozenge-shaped ornaments are symmetrically arranged in the field around the monogram. The denomination 5 FRANCS appears in two lines in the lower portion of the field, with the numeral 5 integrated below the monogram.
