| Beschrijving voorzijde | Bare-headed left-facing portrait bust of Prince Rainier III, rendered in high relief in a refined neoclassical style by engraver Pierre Turin. The effigy occupies the central field with the subject depicted in military or formal attire, his features sharply modeled. The circumferential legend reads RAINIER III PRINCE DE MONACO, distributed around the upper and lower periphery. The engraver's signature P. TURIN and the date 1966 appear in the lower field beneath the portrait. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse displays the Monegasque coat of arms — a lozenge-patterned shield in the traditional fusilly bendy of the Grimaldi dynasty — supported by two armored knights standing as heraldic supporters, each grasping the shield. A princely crown surmounts the full achievement at the top of the composition. The large denomination numeral 5 and the letter F are prominently struck in the lower central field flanking the shield's base. The motto DEO JUVANTE (With God's Help) appears as a legend along the lower rim. |
