| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central device depicts the ornate royal tughra (monogram) of Muhammad VIII al-Amin, Bey of Tunis, enclosed within a crescent open at the base, all rendered in high relief. The tughra is surmounted by a stylised minaret or torch motif with decorative finials. The Arabic legend 'المملكة التونسية' (Kingdom of Tunisia) arcs around the upper field, while the dual date '١٣٧٣ - ١٩٥٤' (AH 1373 - AD 1954) appears below the central device.
