| 正面描述 | Central field features a group of traditional weapons arranged in a decorative composition: a curved jambiya dagger with an ornately decorated scabbard, a bow and arrow, and a flintlock pistol with powder horn. The Arabic legend surrounds the design in two registers, naming the Sultan Said Ali bin Said Omar of Anjouan and invoking divine protection, with the Hijri date ١٣٠٨ (1308 AH) appearing prominently in the lower central field. The entire design is enclosed within a fine beaded border. |

| 背面描述 | Central motif depicts two crossed flags — the French Tricolore bearing the monogram 'RF' (République Française) and the flag of Anjouan — with a crescent and stars above their crossing point, symbolising the French protectorate over the Sultanate of Anjouan. The crossed flags are framed by an elegant wreath of palm and laurel branches tied with a ribbon at the base. A four-line Arabic inscription fills the upper and lower fields, reading 'Under the protection of the glorious State of France, the State of Anjouan, may God preserve it.' The whole is encircled by a beaded border. |
