Two symmetrically arranged olive branches rise from the base, their fronds curving outward to flank the inscription on either side. The Hijri date 1353 is prominently positioned at the foot of the design. The overall composition reflects the Arabesque decorative tradition applied to Tunisian colonial-period issues. |
