Reverse description An oil palm tree in high relief occupies the center of the field, its fronds spreading broadly above a slender trunk. The large denomination numerals '5' and 'F' flank the trunk to the left and right respectively, with the date '1952' inscribed in the exergue below the tree. The bilingual legend 'BANQUE CENTRALE' arcs across the upper field in French, and 'CENTRALE BANK' follows the lower periphery in Dutch, each legend flanked by a small six-pointed star.
