The central vignette presents the crowned Grand Ducal coat of arms of Luxembourg within an ornate cartouche, flanked symmetrically by two large guilloche rosettes each bearing the numeral "5"; smaller "5" numerals occupy all four corners. "LETZEBURG" appears in a curved banner at the top, and "FENNEF FRANG" is set in a decorative panel at the bottom, with the imprint "AMERICAN BANK NOTE COMPANY" at the foot. |
