Reverse description The reverse depicts a traditional Kuwaiti dhow (boom) sailing on stylized waves, rendered in fine detail with full rigging, multiple masts, and billowing sails, occupying the central field. A small flag is shown at the stern of the vessel. In the lower exergue, the dual date is inscribed in Eastern Arabic numerals, with the Hijri year to the left and the Gregorian year to the right, separated by a dash. The coin is struck to proof quality with a highly polished mirror field contrasting against frosted device surfaces, and the reverse is enclosed by a dentilated border.
