Aanvullende informatie

Portugal's 2007 scouting issue was struck to mark the centenary of the Scout Movement, coinciding with the World Scout Jamboree held at Hylands Park in Essex — the first Jamboree on British soil since 1957. Baden-Powell founded the movement following his experimental camp on Brownsea Island in 1907, making the centenary a globally coordinated numismatic moment; Portugal was among dozens of mints that issued commemoratives that year.

The proof striking by INCM is on .925 silver, a fineness the Casa da Moeda had standardized for its collector series well before this issue.
