| Reverse description | A highly detailed, polychrome colorized depiction of a red mason bee (Osmia bicornis) is rendered centrally in the inner disc, shown from a dorsal perspective with its characteristic rust-red and dark-banded abdomen, translucent wings spread to either side, and six legs clearly articulated against a textured stone or bark background. The surrounding outer ring is struck in darker copper-nickel and carries the circular legend 'ROSTROTE MAUERBIENE' distributed around the full circumference of the ring. The contrast between the colored central insert and the plain metal border creates a striking two-zone composition typical of the German collector 5 Euro series. |
