| Reverse description | The reverse is dominated by a large, closely cropped portrait of an eastern imperial eagle's head rendered in bold relief and occupying the majority of the design field. In the lower portion of the design, overlapping the bird's neck, a nest is depicted containing two eaglets and an egg, conveying a scene of breeding and conservation. The scientific name 'AQUILA HELIACA' and the Slovak vernacular name 'OROL KRÁĽOVSKÝ' are inscribed as curved legends around the periphery of the eagle's head. The stylised monogram 'TL', denoting the coin's designer Tomáš Lamač, appears near the lower right rim. |
