| 表面の説明 | The obverse presents a central cross composed of microfilms — the medium through which the Chronicle of the Catholic Church in Lithuania was clandestinely disseminated. The four quadrants formed by the cross display, in traditional heraldic arrangement, the Vytis (the Lithuanian state coat of arms), the church of Simnas (birthplace of the Chronicle), and a scene depicting the hand-to-hand passing of the publication. At upper centre, a dove bearing the microfilm cross symbolises the Holy Spirit and the Chronicle's worldwide propagation. The legend LIETUVA, the date 2023, the denomination €5, and the Lithuanian Mint mark LMK are inscribed to the right of the composition. |

| 裏面の説明 | The reverse depicts a male figure rendered in the style of a medieval illuminated manuscript, seated and typing on a typewriter rather than writing by hand, symbolising the modern era of the Chronicle's composition. A dove perched at his ear represents the Holy Spirit as divine inspiration, his liturgical stole alludes to the writer's sacred calling, and his bare feet evoke the poverty and humility of those who produced the Chronicle. The inscription PERSKAITĘS PERDUOK KITAM ('Pass on after reading') arcs through the field, directly referencing the circulation method of the samizdat publication. |
