Aanvullende informatie

Union Pacific's Big Boy locomotives — formally the 4000-class articulated steamers built by ALCO from 1941 — were commissioned specifically to haul freight over the Wasatch Range between Ogden and Green River without requiring helper engines on the grade. Liberia has issued commemorative coinage under licensing arrangements since the 1990s, producing topical collector pieces with no connection to Liberian monetary history. This is squarely one of those.
