| Aanvullende informatie |
Hutt River Province — formally the Principality of Hutt River — was a self-declared micronation in Western Australia that seceded from Australia in 1970 under Leonard Casley, who styled himself Prince Leonard I. Its coins were struck as legitimate legal tender within the province's own framework, though Australian authorities never recognized the secession. The New Queensland Mint produced numismatic issues for several micronations and breakaway entities during the late 1980s and early 1990s, a cottage industry catering almost entirely to collector demand rather than any genuine circulation need.
The Women's Armed Forces designation on a micronation coin of this period is an unusual flourish — Hutt River's "military" existed largely on paper.
